Embracer Freemode Welcomes Industry Veteran Brian Bright to the Leadership Team

Former Activision® Game Director Joins Embracer’s 11th Operating Group

Livermore, CA – October 25th 2022 – Embracer Freemode, the recently announced 11th operating group of Embracer, announced today that industry veteran Brian Bright has joined the leadership team, further bolstering support for the Embracer Freemode eco-system of companies.

A highly regarded industry figure, Brian is known for his unrivalled creative ability and management skills, previously serving for 25 years at Activision®, instrumental in launching several billion-dollar AAA games. Most recently, Brian served as Co-op Game Director at Infinity Ward™, working on the juggernaut franchise, Call of Duty™. To date, the titles developed at Infinity Ward™ have won over 200 ‘Game of the Year’ awards, alongside 100 ‘Editor's Choice’ awards, a testament to the unique talent and creativity Brian brings to his work.

Brian’s skillset is founded on deep creative and management experience, spanning over two decades at Activision® studio, Neversoft™. Here, Brian held the key role of Game Director for the iconic Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater™ series, as well as serving as Project Director for the billion-dollar, pop culture phenomenon, Guitar Hero™. A pillar of the management team, Brian ran multiple creative teams and managed highly complex cross-functional departments. With over 40 game release credits and 10 issued patents to his name, Brian’s impressive resume includes an enviable track-record of accomplishments.
